Hi, im in vietnam and i cannt download any TFTP boot software from server of buffalo TECH. Can anyone help me, send me another link to download these softwares plz ( all version ). Quick start guide. U-Boot TFTP recovery. Recovery can be done via U-Boot TFTP recovery. Buffalo: WBMR-HP-G300H. Have in the past recovered the the boot image, but sadly no longer have the tftp program and more importantly the rom images to upload. Downloaded the latest firmware 1.72, which is not a lot of good if you cannot even connect to it without the boot image. Anyone have the TFTP program and correct image for this NAS? Mine is an TS-XEL/R5 Regards. The non-gymnastic technique for doing a tftp flash on a buffalo is to: download your firmware (std and anything smaller works, newd if you're using an Eko build) set your computer into the buff's native default subnet (192.168.11.7 will do) get the the tftp client ready (tftp.exe).

Please read the “READ ME” provided by Buffalo before attempting anything yourself.

Make sure to download the correct version for your hardware. Check the model
number on the back or bottom of the device before downloading.

If it boots into EM mode try the force update procedure:

Hope this information could help some people 🙂

Has anyone ever recovered one of these units from this error? Precisely it's a TS-XE4.0L/R5. I've scoured the Buffalo forums to NO AVAIL. This is a working from home effort, so will appreciate ideas to try during the day and I'll have a dez at night.
Here is what I have tried -
putting all factory original hard drives back in the unit (3 have previously failed)
trying 4 working hard drives
cloning drives from a known working unit
attaching a machine with IP address 192.168.11.1 running TFTP to a folder with the units firmware
running NAS Navi and trying to find the station on the network
I can't ping the thing, even when on the same IP range.
SO - if you can help me get it working again that would be lovely. It is a backup drive for my self employed primary and they can't really afford a new one. I've got a 1TB HDD attached to the server for backups at the moment, and as you can appreciate - that isn't ideal
